There is a footbridge at Ninety Mile Beach, which stretches along the coastline of the Tasman City coast. The wildlife around the beach and lakes includes kangaroos, pelicans, and dolphins. The Griffiths Sea Shell Museum has exhibits on marine life and coral reefs, as well as an aquarium.

There are many shops and cafe’s within a short walking distance from the jetty.
