Across the Mur River, the futuristic Kunsthaus Graz exhibits contemporary art.

2. Uhrturm
The “Grazer Uhrturm” is the most famous landmark of Styria’s capital city Graz and impresses everyone with its giant clock face. The fact that its hour and minute hands are reversed makes the tower unique. It is a hilltop 13th-century medieval clock tower with a garden & panoramic town views.
3. Kunsthaus Graz
The Kunsthaus Graz, Grazer Kunsthaus, or Graz Art Museum was built as part of the European Capital of Culture celebrations in 2003 and has since become an architectural landmark in Graz, Austria. Its exhibition program specializes in contemporary art from the 1960s onwards.
4. Schloßberg
The Schlossberg is a tree-clad hill, and the site of a fortress, in the center of the city of Graz, Austria. The hill is now a public park and enjoys extensive views of the city. It is the site of several entertainment venues, cafés, and restaurants, and is managed by Holding Graz, the city-owned utility company. The fortification of the Schlossberg goes back to at least the 10th century. In the mid-16th century, a 400 m long fortress was constructed by architects from the north of Italy.
5. Eggenberg Palace
Eggenberg Palace in Graz is the most significant Baroque palace complex in the Austrian province of Styria. With its preserved accouterments, the extensive scenic gardens, as well as some special collections from the Universalmuseum Joanneum housed in the palace and surrounding park, Schloss Eggenberg ranks among the most valuable cultural treasures of Austria. Eggenberg Palace is situated at an elevation of 381 meters on the Western edge of the city.
