In summer, the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand offers free concerts. The Rehoboth Beach Museum explores the city’s history with annual libraries and postcards. To the north, Cape Henlopen State Park has been dunes and observatory since 1941, when the park was a military base.

The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand is located on Rehoboth Avenue near the boardwalk and serves as a free open-air music and entertainment venue in the summer months, with performances from over 50 bands during the course of the season. Performances have been held at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand since 1963.

A Members’ Sales Gallery, a non-juried revolving and fluid exhibition of works by member artists, is always on display in one, or more, of our galleries.

Exhibits show the history of having fun at the beach. Vintage bathing suits, postcards, photos, and maps are on display. They have changing exhibits, too. Sand pails, surfboards, and archaeological artifacts have all been on display.
