1. Sozopol Old Town
The Sozopol Old town maintains the feeling of a different era with its little alleys, roads, and churches. One thing you will notice immediately is the architecture that is quite unique. It is a large town and is separate from the new Sozopol town. You can walk through the ancient roads and find many interesting places such as the bars on the southern wall or mini markets.
2. Southern Walls Of Sozopol
The guests of the Reserve can enjoy a pleasant walk in the quiet narrow streets and look at authentic Sozopol houses from the National Revival period, at chapels and churches, admire a unique view of the sea and the islands St. St. Kirik and Yulita, St. Ivan and St. Peter. Handmade table cloths created by Sozopol’s grannies as well as homemade fig jam are an additional attraction.
3. Kavatsite Beach
Kavatsite Beach is one of the most popular beach life experiences in Sozopol. It is a long beach with many modern restaurants where you can eat, drink coffee or even play board games. It attracts many people during the whole summer era. The beach is clean and well organized, making swimming and sunbathing very relaxing.
4. Ravadinovo Castle
Wonderful park with several thousand exotic trees, plants and flowers. Several deep-water Freshwater lakes and waterfowl (white and black swans, pelicans and ducks). a Fountain of desires. Bronze and marble sculptural compositions. Horse riding base for small and large horses. Winery with a wine tasting and drink tasting.Art gallery.Everything born from a dream and done with much zeal and imagination.
5. The Holy Virgin Church
This is something worth to be seen, a historical landmark with an authentic spirit. A must-see! Go there, enjoy the atmosphere, imagine the city 5000 years ago and after that- dilute in the daily crowd, greedy for souvenirs!
6. Church Of Saints Cyril And Methodius
This Church is dedicated to Saints Cyril and Methodius. They are credited with the creation of the Cyrillic alphabet. The church is well maintained and contains exhibits of both religious and cultural significance. Even though it is not the largest or spectacular of churches it’s well worth a visit.
7. Sozopol Archaeological Museum
Small museum with many well-preserved vessels from periods dating back to 4th century BC. Huge historical significance to the area and it’s linked with ancient Greeks. This is all explained in English and Bulgarian with mostly intelligible descriptions.
8. Ethnographic Museum of Sozopol
A small museum where you can see old Bulgarian clothes, carpets, fishing, and sewing equipment. This museum gives an opportunity to look around a traditional house and discover more about the social history of Bulgaria. The artifacts on the ground floor are a bit sparse, but more could be seen upstairs, where there are some incredibly carved wooden ceilings and wall panels.
9. Harmanite Beach
This beach is very nice and spacious and the water is clean. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby that are not expensive and offer good food. Sea fun beach beds & shops restaurants, food stalls & a great beach bar. Close to town & not far from the old town.
10. Aquapark Neptun
With its many water slides and various bars, restaurants, extra attractions, vast green spaces, and various services, aquapark ‘Neptun’ offers its guests a world-class experience. Fun place with activities for both young and young at heart. Clean and well-maintained pools and slides. Not too crowded and short to almost no queues for the slides. A day well spent relaxing and cooling down on a hot summer afternoon.
